It’s always our favourite time of the season when Rubber Cult rolls around, and how lucky we are that the next instalment of this latex mainstay is this weekend, May 13th! This Spring’s Rubber Cult is getting into the swing of the season with its theme “Colours of Cult” and will be held as usual at The Alice – a great venue in the heart of London which has proved popular with the event’s regulars.
Rubber Cult is the UK’s only exclusively-rubber event, which is one of the reasons it’s so popular on the scene. For first-timers, this means absolutely everything worn on the body must be made of rubber and latex (exceptions are made for accessories, hosiery and shoes – however, the door staff are very strict and you will be turned away if you aren’t deemed up to scratch!).
A rubber-only dress code can be a little daunting to those who haven’t attended a similar event before, so take a look at the Rubber Cult gallery for some inspiration. You can also use the seasonal “Colours of Cult” theme to create your own original outfit – look for latex in bright colours to piece together for a colourful patchwork ensemble!
As if a bopping room of rubber-clad kinksters wasn’t already enough for us, event organisers and scene veterans Miss Kim and Cynth Icorn have pulled off an exciting line-up of exhibits and shows for you to enjoy throughout the evening. These rubber-themed “extracurricular activities” include a photography exhibition, life drawing, rope suspension, cabaret acts, and more!
Rubber Cult is a completely unmissable event for those interested in both latex fetishism and latex fashion. You can get your tickets in any Honour store, or buy them online here. You can also find Rubber Cult on Facebook, Twitter, and Fetlife.
